My pleasure, I study architectural rendering & drawing and designing with confidence nightly. I'm amazed at what 2 books and practice can do for my designs. Thanks.

  • Chris Tramutola

Hey Mike, it has been a while. Are you going to be in DC for the ASLA convention? I will be there. Hope to see you. I'll try and make it to LV this winter.
  • Sherry McReynolds

Thrilled to learn you will be changing the lives of future architects from Las Vegas instead of San Francisco! Spent the last few years with HKS designing and building City Center. Remember bumping into you at the Bellagio fountains - ten years ago?
Herro to your first wife! I will come see you - I will!
  • Sherry McReynolds

    Self-portrait......slumming instead of studying.

HEY MIKE! Hope all is well with you. I definitely need to come back and TA for you again sometime soon. Got a quick question for you.............."GOT ANY DUCKFOOD?"
  • Dave Wells

Ready for Vegas sometime in the near future...
  • Dawn Hall

Mike: If you and/or JoAnn need a hand doing anything in Manhattan, my very trusted assistant should be living there, starting next week. She is finishing Grad School in Urban Planning. And "NO", you can't keep her. I am only willing to "loan". She will be coming home most weekends to help me. Good to hear from you! Call me again, when you can.
  • Madeline Sutter, RLA, ASLA

    see you in DC

Thanks Mike. It's good to see you are still sharing your gifts. I hope to attend another session someday soon. Thanks again.
  • Ken Nentwig

Website is great! I will add some information and work over time. So far, my involvement with the World Skills organization is shown. Also, a review of your Watercolor techniques video - a bit tongue-in-cheek, of course.
  • Sarah Morris

No problem, a friend recommended the site and I came to check it out.

Hello Uncle... Great to see the site up and running. I forgot I'm in South Beach this weekend, so I will try to get you some feedback early next week. Be LOOSE!
  • jannie

Oh uncle you know better than anyone that when I say I. It means me and carrie. She married remember? Poor carrie has no idea what she got herself into. Hehe
  • Brian Lin

jannie...you might want to run carrie through the lin family "terms and conditions"...
  • Shanna Shryne

Wow, you have an excellent memory!

I am interested in attending the workshop in Las Vegas in January. Can you direct me to where I can find more information on this seminar, I have questions on cost in particular. Also, will you be conducting any workshops in Los Angeles?

    Thank you, Shanna
  • Elizabeth A. Przygoda-Montgomery

how much is the class in tampa?
  • waibun

    Hi Mike,
    Nice website!
  • Chris Macklin

thanks for having me. I recently found your organization a month or so ago. If all goes well I hoping to attend one of your workshops within the next year. I have done residential architecture for the last 10 years or so and I have done my own renderings. They have been good enough for the clients thus far but I would like to take my skills to another level. When I cam across your organization and its philosophy on illustration it matched up with what I already believe. However, doing it and believing it are two totally different things.

    Hey Mike,

Thanks for the comment on my picture and I am really happy to be a part of your website now. As far as foreground in my picture, there is not much around to put in the foreground at 14k feet. I guess I could have held a rock just to the edge of the camera lens :-)

I saw that Josh and Sarah are on the site but will be sure to mention it to the others from our class that I talk to. I am looking forward to putting some renderings on the site to get input on from you and others.

Once again, Congrats on the new site and I look forward to exploring more in the days and weeks to come.

Mike, I have heard about your class from a collegue of mine in Minnesota and how it changed his life and saved him money as he started to complete all his own elevations for his interior design projects..An intern that worked for me from the University of MN that your changed her total outlook of drawing elevations.I have been in the interior design industry for 18 years and have never been able to draw my own work. I am CDN and moved to MN where I lived for 15yrs. Due to the economic situation, I lost my business and decided to move back to Canada to start over. I am working for a design firm in Toronto now and hope to be able to save up some cash to take your course, until then I will stary in touch and continue to spread the word about you. All the best with your new venture in Las Vegas
  • Tyler Jones

Thanks for the invitation Mike and the offer to upload the Marquis Las Vegas home! Go ahead and use the DVD we gave you. I will add additional photos as well.
  • Mark Perrett

    Hey Mike,
I'm excited for your workshop at the University of South Florida and ready to sharpen my skills! I've been wanting to come to one of your classes for about two years now but havn't had the money to do so. So the fact that you are coming to me is outstanding and I can't thank you enough for allowing the workshop to be put on so close to home. Im also excited for the gifts and prizes that will be given out for the raffle, the architecture program has left all of us broke! lol But I cant wait and hope you have a safe trip out to Florida.

    Thanks,
    Mark Perrett

Hey there my friend!! Chad and I miss you and your family too. Chad and I are doing well. It's been too long since we've seen you!! We often wonder if we could make it through a workshop...it may be worth it just to see you and the new building in LV. (Very nice by the way!) If you need TA's let us know ;)
  • John Salmons

Your demo was great at Catholic, to tell you the truth I keep working on the 45 degree perspective. And I am definitely looking in to your two day workshop in San Francisco. I think I have learned more in that workshop about drawling and life then my two years here at school.
  • Luisa Arroyo

    Hello!
I was told that your workshop (USF) today was really good and interesting, it's a shame that I could not be there...
  • Robert Hanna

Hi Mike..passed on the message to Carlos about the pastels. He will do it next week.
  • alvaro coronel

thank you for the workshop at USF i learned a lot and I hope to continue to improve my skills.
  • Donna M. Rodman, BCSLA, CSLA

Hi Mike, thank you - I am having challenges with AutoCad and Photoshop - with drawing files that are quite large. I am working in AutoCad, importing PDF into Photoshop, saving as Tifs or JPGS and painting over pdfs, tifs and/or Jpgs in Photoshop and saving the rendered work as either tifs or jpgs - 300 dpi and such. I don't seem to have the proper Adobe Software aligned with my AutoCad or with my Photoshop - is there an inexpensive PDF platform or is there a free download from Adobe that works with both AutoCad (2004 is the version I have, and Photoshop CS3?
