Funny story. So I get home and start unpacking all my crap, wherein, I have two additional batteries to power up my AWESOME pencil sharpener! I sit down to do my first pencil rendering and stick the pencil in the sharpener and nothing happens! I disassemble the thing to see if maybe there's a cover on the blade or something goofy. Nope, not that I can tell, this sharpener just really sucks LOL! Guess my manual one isn't so bad after all :) You realize I'm just razzin' around with you, right? I'm not gonna sweat $9.00 :)
Hey Brandon!
Sorry, not entirely sure how to use this site. I don't exactly know how I figured out how to reply!
I'm glad you're enjoying the book. I found it quite helpful. I only own 2 lenses. The one that came with my 7D (canon) which is a 15mm to 85mm and purchased a prime lens 100mm macro which I LOVE!! I want more of a zoom lens but don't need one since a friend of mine loaned me his 70-200mm. :)
Glad to hear you use Nebraska Portfolio as a reference. Sketches of Nebraska, an earlier book, is still used as a reference in many Schools of Architecture. Both are out of print but I occasionally find copies. The key to pen and ink is...practice.
Hey Brandon,
I'm good! How are you? Well I found out about this website through my professor Pino Trogu. I'm currently taking his drafting and sketching class. He mentioned that we might be able to get a workshop going in our class. Very cool!
Thanks,
Dana
