An existing parking lot is redeveloped into an underground garage structure with urban park above. Tree lined pedestrian walkways and vine covered arbors lead patients, visitors and staff to redesigned main entrance and Annenberg Fountain. Continuous stepped water features disappear below the Medical Center's main entrance. (Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, CA)
