Professional Bio

Tyler Jones is a founding partner of luxury home builder Blue Heron and the creative mind behind all their designs. In addition to design development, Jones is responsible for land acquisition & development and overseeing the sales & marketing department.

A fourth generation Nevadan, Jones began in the building industry while a teenager working for custom home builder Merlin Contracting before moving to Boulder, Colorado to study Architecture at the University of Colorado. Upon returning to Las Vegas he and his partners formed Blue Heron in 2004.

With a passion for green building and desert contemporary design, Jones incorporates both in every home. As a result, Blue Heron has been recognized with over 18 prestigious awards.

Jones is a member of the Green Building Initiative, U.S. Green Building Council and North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
