Careful - it's not a compliment
I wanted to share a link to another blog that echoes the main thing Mike has taught us. It instantly reminded me of my experience in the May 2005 Workshop where during one of the critiques, Mike observed that I was a "very careful" drawer. Even after I had already spilled coffee on the drawing, I still didn't loosen up - it was already 'ruined,' so why not just say 'what the hell' and have fun with it?
